Foundational Ballet Technique + Pilates (Level 2) | Ages 7 and Up

Start your ballet journey with confidence! This transformative Foundational Ballet Technique + Pilates class provides all the essential training for true and noticeable progress. Designed for students ages 7 and up, this class covers foundational ballet vocabulary, technique, and application through guided barre and center work.

To enhance their performance, students also benefit from expertly guided Pilates Mat Work, helping them awaken and activate their core strength at the beginning of each session. Whether you’re a ballet beginner or a former dancer returning to the art, this class sets the stage for success in ballet training and beyond.


Foundational Ballet Technique PLUS + Pilates (Level 2-3) | Ages 7 and Up

Looking to take your ballet training to the next level? Our Foundational Ballet Technique PLUS + Pilates class is the ideal companion to the foundational course, reinforcing core techniques while preparing students to progress confidently. Perfect for ages 7 and up, this class builds upon essential ballet skills and vocabulary, incorporating guided barre and center work for improved technique and artistry.

At the start of each class, students engage in Pilates Mat Work to strengthen their core and enhance body awareness, setting them up for greater control and precision. This bridge class is designed to help dancers advance smoothly from Level 2 to Level 3 and beyond, creating a strong foundation for future growth in ballet.

Ballet Technique + Pilates: Intermediate/Advanced (Levels 3, 4, 5, Advanced)

Experience the pinnacle of ballet training! This unique class combines Balanchine-style ballet technique with professional-grade guidance, providing a transformative experience for intermediate to advanced ballet students. Designed to challenge even the most seasoned dancers, students will cultivate the discipline, persistence, and commitment needed to refine their technique while enhancing musicality, athleticism, and artistry.

This “one-room schoolhouse” approach begins with advanced Pilates Mat Work, followed by barre and center exercises, rooted in Balanchine’s original methods. Younger students thrive under the mentorship of advanced dancers, who, in turn, gain invaluable leadership and teaching skills. As dancers progress, they develop not only their technical abilities but also confidence, self-esteem, and character—essential qualities for success in both ballet and life.


Pointe & Pre-Pointe Training

We take a meticulous, individualized approach to pointe training. Dancers transition to pointe only after an expert evaluation of their technique and physical readiness to ensure safety and long-term success. At Cuizon’s, student health and injury prevention are top priorities.

Before transitioning to pointe, students will work on pre-pointe exercises to build the necessary strength and alignment. All pointe plans are personalized and reviewed with parents or guardians. Floor Barre

Inspired by Zena Rommett’s methods and reimagined by Lisa, this class helps dancers strengthen, lengthen, and refine the supportive muscles often overlooked in traditional ballet training. Stretch Class

Flexibility is the foundation of every dancer’s success. Lisa’s Stretch Class is designed to deepen the mind-body connection while enhancing muscle flexibility and joint mobility. Through a series of safe, guided stretches, dancers will release tension, reduce stress, and improve their overall range of motion and extensions.
